South Pacific: The Tisiphone sails the south seas with Killigrew trying to drink himself to perdition to forget past events. During a stopover in Hobart Killigrew kills a man in self defence earning the emnity of his brother. The Tisiphone then sails for Norfolk Island and finds itself involved in an escape attempt by a group of "incorrigibles".
