Edward J. Marolda served for many years as the U.S. Navy's Senior Historian at the Naval History and Heritage Command in Washington, D.C. He earned an MA at Georgetown in European Diplomatic History and the Ph.D at The George Washington University in U.S. History.
He has authored, coauthored, or edited works on the U.S. Navy’s nineteenth- and twentieth-century history, including World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Persian Gulf War.
