Beginning his career as a US Navy destroyer officer from December 1964 to March 1968, Coker then transitioned into the financial world, serving as a bank analyst from 1968 to 1971. Despite these shifts, he has consistently maintained a passion for real estate investment, a venture he has pursued from 1968 to the present day.
In his spare time, Coker finds satisfaction in building ship models, reflecting his enduring love for naval service.
