Thibaut Mallet has been passionate about naval and aeronautical history since his early childhood and has compiled books and magazines on NATO, China and Soviet weapon systems for almost 40 years.
While part of the last class of conscripts in the French Navy, he signed up as a PR officer in Paris Navy HQ (1998-1999).
He has worked with the French media on several major events, such as ship commissionings and during the Kosovo War.
Mallet began contributing to Air & Cosmos (France's leading aeronautical magazine) in 2022 and now writes for Warships International Fleet Review, edited by Iain Ballantyne, as well as for the Revue Militaire Suisse.
