Scottish emigrant Robby Hazelett launches into voyages that take him over oceans, across several countries during a special time for his adopted country. Along the way, he comes to understand much about the world and himself. He serves in many roles, while surviving dangers from enemies, storms of nature and tempests within. A saga of the Age of Sail and the War of 1812, this nautical "swash-buckler" deals with the fascinating and crucial times of the late 18th and early 19th centuries from a "not unbiased" American perspective.
