Repulse Bay

HMS Repulse was the most advanced warship in the world when she was built in 1840. She was ordered to the Far East as the First Opium War gave the Royal Navy the opportunity to use the superior technology to defeat the Qing dynasty and demonstrate Britain’s leadership of the western world. However, apart from the dubious motive of supplying opium to China, Mate David Osborne became embroiled in a far more sinister web of corruption. He lost everything, including the shirt from his back, as he battled to uphold the standards of the Royal Navy.
