Under the Baltic

The German navy regarded the Baltic Sea as their private lake during the Great War. A small band of determined men took their submarines to Russia to challenge the Kaiser’s dominance. Russia was in the grip of revolution but the intrepid men of the Royal Navy ensured the Germans had to be wary of the reach of Britain’s sea power in the Baltic. Mark Gough commanded the tiny and outdated C39 and found more than glory in his adventures in the icy waters of the Baltic.
